Installing the Extension
Brie is available for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Chromium, and Safari. Installation takes less than a minute.
Chrome / Chromium
- Visit the Chrome Web Store listing for Brie.
- Click Add to Chrome.
- Confirm by clicking Add extension in the popup.
- The Brie icon appears in your browser toolbar. You're ready to go.
Pro tip: Pin the Brie extension to your toolbar for quick access. Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome, then click the pin icon next to Brie.
Edge
- Visit the Edge Add-ons listing for Brie.
- Click Get.
- Confirm by clicking Add extension in the popup.
- The Brie icon appears in your toolbar.
Firefox
- Visit the Firefox Add-ons listing for Brie.
- Click Add to Firefox.
- Confirm the permissions and click Add.
- The Brie icon appears in your toolbar.
Opera
- Visit the Opera Add-ons listing for Brie.
- Click Add to Opera.
- Confirm the permissions and click Install.
- The Brie icon appears in your toolbar.
Safari
- Visit the App Store listing for Brie.
- Click Get to install.
- Open Safari, go to Settings > Extensions, and enable Brie.
Manual install (development builds)
If you're testing a pre-release version or building from source:
- Download the extension
.zipfile from the Brie GitHub releases. - Unzip the file to a folder on your computer.
- In Chrome, go to
chrome://extensions. - Enable Developer mode (toggle in the top right).
- Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
The extension loads and appears in your toolbar.
Updating
Brie updates automatically through your browser's extension store. You don't need to do anything — new features and fixes are delivered as they're released.
