Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs about Time Zone Meeting Planner

What UTC offset format should I use?

Use the format UTC±HH or UTC±HH:MM, for example: UTC+0, UTC+5:30, UTC-8, UTC+9:30. Each offset should be on its own line.

What does "overlapping working hours" mean?

These are the hours (in UTC) where all participants are simultaneously within their defined working window. If no overlap exists, the tool will indicate this and suggest the closest window.

Can I use city names instead of offsets?

Currently the tool accepts UTC offsets only. To find a city's offset, search "UTC offset [city name]" or check timeanddate.com.

Does the tool account for daylight saving time?

No. The tool uses fixed UTC offsets as entered. For DST-aware scheduling, verify current offsets for each location before entering them.

Is my data safe?

All calculations run entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server.
