Organizations & Workspaces

Brie uses organizations and workspaces to help teams manage their bug reports.

Organizations

An organization is your team's top-level account in Brie. When you sign up, a personal organization is created automatically.

  • Each organization has its own billing and subscription.
  • You can belong to multiple organizations (e.g., your company and a side project).
  • Organization admins manage members, billing, and integrations.

Workspaces

Workspaces live inside an organization. They're how you group slices by project, team, or product area.

  • Each organization starts with a default workspace.
  • Create additional workspaces for different projects or teams.
  • Slices belong to exactly one workspace.

Managing workspaces

Workspace management is done through the Brie web app at app.briehq.com:

  1. Open your organization settings.
  2. Click New workspace.
  3. Enter a name (a URL-friendly slug is generated automatically).
  4. Click Create.

Pro tip: Name workspaces after your projects or products — e.g., "Mobile App," "Marketing Site," "API" — so slices are easy to find.
