About Feature Prioritization Scorecard
Paste a list of features with scores across four dimensions — User Value, Business Value, Effort, and Risk — and instantly get a ranked priority list. The weighted scoring formula rewards high user and business value while penalising high effort and risk: Score = (User Value + Business Value) × 2 − Effort − Risk. Each feature is also assigned a recommendation tier (Do First, Plan Next, or Consider Later) to help your team align on the roadmap in seconds.

How is the priority score calculated?
Score = (User Value + Business Value) × 2 − Effort − Risk. The multiplier on value dimensions means a highly valuable, low-effort feature scores significantly higher than a low-value, high-effort one.
What do the recommendation tiers mean?
"Do First" means the feature scores in the top third and should be on your near-term roadmap. "Plan Next" means it is worth scheduling in the medium term. "Consider Later" means it has lower priority given current scores.
Can I adjust the scoring scale?
The tool uses a 1–10 scale for all dimensions. Keep your scoring consistent across features — calibrate by scoring a reference feature first and using it as a benchmark for the rest.
What is the difference between Effort and Risk?
Effort measures implementation complexity and time. Risk captures uncertainty — technical unknowns, regulatory concerns, or dependency on third parties. Both penalise the score to surface quick wins.
Can I use this for sprint planning?
